Santiago de Querétaro City Tour
Querétaro has one of the most beautiful historic centers in Mexico. Founded in 1531 as a town for the native population, it evolved to become an important spot in the Camino Real. This road that communicated the mining towns in the north with the capitol, Mexico City. The architecture of the town was divided in two, the Spanish and the Indigenous layout, that with the amazing aqueduct, is one of the reasons why this town was included as World Heritage Site in 1996.
In this tour we are going to see the monumental Aqueduct, some active and former convents and religious and civic architecture from the Colonial times. We also can see the pyramid of El Cerrito, and the Hill of the bells, the place where the Emperor Maximilian of Hapsburg was executed in 1867.
Come and know its safe and clean historic center, that has seen some of the more important historic events of Mexico.
